Thread locks
We provide you with the complete connection with our thread locks!
As an independent industrial partner, we provide you with the complete connection, including your desired thread protection. Secure your threads without additional mechanical locking elements and benefit from choosing the right thread lock for you.
The selection and options of thread securing methods are now very diverse and we have the necessary experience to provide you with competent advice in this specialist area. At this point, we would like to show you just a few of the options so that you can see how different the options can be.
Tuflok
Advantages:
Economically proven protection against automatic loosening of screws
Tight against liquids and gases when coated all over
Can be reused several times
Low assembly costs and no need for additional mechanical safety elements
No damage to surfaces and counterparts
Also for screws that must not be weakened in cross section
Suitable for small screws from M 1
Long shelf life
Product features
The threaded parts are heated inductively and coated on special machines.
There, the highly elastic and abrasion-resistant nylon layer is applied to part of the thread.
This process is extremely suitable for securing screws and connectors against loosening and unscrewing.
Since Tuflok does not dry out, shrinks or decomposes, it is particularly durable.
The threaded parts can be reused several times. Tuflok has a temperature resistance of — 56° C to 120°.
Nytemp protection is available for higher loads of up to 200°.
This clamping thread lock ensures a high level of vibration resistance and an exceptionally high loose torque.
Torques
Nuts with a 6 H tolerance and a thread increase of 10 times are used to test the torques. The test nut must be angled at 90°. Different torques and test methods require a separate agreement and usually require a sample coating. We are happy to assist you with specific problem solutions.
Coating position
The first 2 to 3 threads remain uncoated so that the connecting parts can be screwed in easily. The Tuflok coating is applied to the following 4 to 6 threads. A 360° all-round coating is recommended to seal the connection against liquids and gases. Additional special requests regarding the position and length of the coating can largely be taken into account. The distribution area must be included in the planning.

Thread protection (NormTight)
Advantages:
Eco-friendly and recyclable
Can be used without health risk
Can be used more often
No peeling of particles
Colourless thread (available without dyes)
High loose torque
Long shelf life
Elimination of additional mechanical safety elements
Reduced assembly costs
Consistent screwing due to precise tolerances
Proceedings:
A groove is milled into the screw thread just below the core diameter and an elastically deformed special thread is pressed into it. This thread lock ensures a high level of vibration safety and an extremely high loose torque (exceeds the requirements of DIN 267 Part 28).
Thanks to the many special variants, NormTight® can be used very universally.
DIN 267 thread lock
Clamping coating in accordance with DIN 267 part 28
Product features:
In accordance with DIN 267 Part 28, a plastic is applied to the thread and thus creates a clamping effect. Different methods and types of protection are permitted. The clamping elements can be designed as a stain coating, all-round coating or strip-shaped coating and in various colors. The coating prevents a connection from completely loosening, but not from loosening. According to the requirements in the standard, the connecting parts with a clamping coating are only intended for one-time use. Repeated use must only be possible when used as an adjusting or adjusting screw.
Areas of application:
Steel screws with metric ISO thread Range of application — 50° C to 90° C Thread diameters of 3 mm to 16 mm Strength classes in accordance with DIN 898 Part 1. The standard does not apply to fuses that require additional machining. The test values of the threaded parts must have a shelf life of 2 years when properly stored internally.
Torques:
Different torques require a separate agreement and usually require a trial coating.
Exams:
For the individual requirements for testing connecting parts with a clamping coating, please refer to DIN 267 Part 28. The test nuts must meet the following criteria. The height of the nut is 0.8 to 0.9 d (nominal diameter) the nut must be welded 120° on both sides. The strength must be at least equal to the strength class of the screw. The thread tolerance 6 H must be selected.
The thread surface is blank or coated black.
The thread must be free of oil and grease. The thread must be free from chips and burrs.
Other test nuts are only permitted by appointment.

Microencapsulation DIN 267
Adhesive coating in accordance with DIN 267 part 27
Product features:
In the case of connecting parts with an adhesive coating in accordance with DIN 267 Part 27, a microencapsulated adhesive is applied to the thread. When the counter threads are tightened, the microcapsules burst open and the adhesive is spread throughout the thread. The usual products on the market differ in terms of curing times and breakaway moments. It must be considered for which temperature range the use is planned. Only clean and residue-free parts should be used. Standard adhesive coatings are always all-round coatings. Fasteners with adhesive coating are only intended for one-time use. Adhesive coatings prevent screw connections from loosening.
Areas of application:
Steel screws with metric ISO thread Range of application — 50° C to 90° C Thread diameters of 3 mm to 16 mm Strength classes in accordance with DIN 898 Part 1.
The test values of the threaded parts must have a shelf life of 2 years when properly stored internally. Screws with adhesive coatings must be protected against moisture. As long as the test values are met, color changes have no effect.
Exams:
For the individual requirements for testing connectors with adhesive coating, please refer to DIN 267 Part 27. The test nuts must meet the following criteria; the height of the nut is 0.8 to 0.9 d (nominal diameter) the nut must be welded 120° on both sides. The strength must be at least equal to the strength class of the screw. The thread tolerance 6 H must be selected. The thread surface is blank or coated black. The thread must be free of oil and grease. The thread must be free from chips and burrs. Other test nuts are only permitted by appointment.

ND Plastisol JX-185
When processing ND Plastisol, closed-cell PVC materials are applied directly to fasteners, washers, and other parts for various purposes.
During the pre-order process, ND Industries distributes liquid plastisol PVC precisely to the parts and then hardens the material on site using heat. The resulting product is dry to the touch and ready for immediate installation. Plastisol can be applied to a wide range of parts to perform the following functions: padding, insulation, masking, sealing, trimming, noise insulation, vibration reduction.
Advantages:
Saves time: Pre-applied ND Plastisol parts can be automatically fed in through standard feeding devices — which speeds up your process and increases productivity.
Saves money: Processing pre-applied ND Plastisol is less expensive than manually applying thread sealants or tapes in bottles at the assembly site.
Quality control: Pre-applied ND plastisol fasteners are coated according to specification, ensuring consistent performance, as opposed to the variations of manually applying bottled products.
Non-toxic: ND plastisol is non-toxic.
Reusable: Fasteners made with ND Plastisol are removable and reusable.
Corrosion resistance: ND Plastisol insulates dissimilar metals and helps reduce galvanic corrosion.
